Celebrate Easter at Boatswain’s Beach!
March 17, 2008
Boatswain’s Beach, the Island’s premier attraction, is reaching out to families this weekend with a slate of Easter traditions, with new and exciting ways for you to enjoy the long holiday weekend.
On Saturday, 22nd March, Boatswain’s Beach presents an Easter Egg Hunt led by its Mascots and a special Easter Bunny who will hide Easter eggs throughout the park. The fun begins from 12:00 noon and goes on until 8:00 PM.
This special event appeals to families and kids in particular. Those ages 10 and under will be admitted for free. The regular admission price of only CI$10.00 applies to all residents.
In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt and its thrilling surprises, patrons will also get to play the Easter Guessing Game, for a chance to win a family prize for a return trip to Boatswain’s Beach.
Other activities for Easter Day include Bunny Face Painting, Bunny Hop Race, Storytelling and Photo Opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
Children attending this weekend’s Easter activities will receive a Bunny Punch Card upon arrival. The card will be punched when they participate in each activity and at the end of the day will be entered into a raffle. The raffle will be drawn at 5:00 PM and children must be present to win.
The Easter adventure continues with all the facilities of the park open on Saturday and throughout the holiday weekend until 10:00PM, including swimming at the Breaker’s Lagoon, with lifeguards on duty.
Patrons can dine at Schooner’s Bar and Grill or enjoy BBQ by the pool from Budgie’s Snack Shack from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM.
“We aim to keep the Easter tradition alive and well at Boatswain’s Beach. We know this is a great time for family activities that allow you to bond together and this is one of the best places on Island that families can choose to spend this holiday weekend,” stated Mr. Joey Ebanks, Acting Managing Director for Boatswain’s Beach.
Take the time out to enjoy this Easter weekend with your family at Boatswain’s Beach and get everyone to cherish this true Caymanian experience.
