Back to Back Celebrations at Boatswain’s Beach

This holiday weekend, Boatswain’s Beach is opening its doors to the public with two very special events tagged “International Celebrations” – 4th of July and Cayman Day. As a gesture of goodwill and to officially welcome the summer, Cayman’s premier attraction is admitting guests of all ages for free.
The marine adventure park goes all-American with a 4th of July celebration this Friday from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm. To join in commemorating the 232nd Anniversary of Independence of the United States of America, Cayman’s premier attraction has lined up a slew of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
While the kids are queuing to have their faces painted, savoring their cotton candy and popcorn or interacting with the clown mascot, the adults can sit back with happy hour priced drinks or dance to the rock n’ roll tunes of Red, White and Blue.

An American Buffet and BBQ Special at Schooner’s Bar and Grill will whet appetites big and small. Delicious aromas of hot dogs, hamburgers and fries will get everyone to keep coming back for more. To cool off, the entire family can head off to Boatswain’s Lagoon which is open until 9:00 pm.
A fantastic fireworks display will light up the sky and cap off this fun event.

To celebrate Constitution Day, Boatswain’s Beach has designated Monday, 7 July as Cayman Day. For one full day, from the minute it opens at 8:30 am, everyone will have the opportunity to explore the park and its facilities for free. Visitors are encouraged to snorkel at Boatswain’s Lagoon, swim at Breaker’s Lagoon, learn crafts at Cayman Street, participate in the shark class and shark feeding activities or take in the sights and sounds of nature while interacting with the animals.


From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, guests can listen to the sounds of the Caribbean by Lammie, test their knowledge and win prizes by playing Cayman Jeopardy, relax by the bar to enjoy the Caybrew Special and other happy hour priced drinks or  partake of the sumptuous Cayman Buffet from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
